Norman E. Parsons and sons led a small Guernsey herd winning three ribbons at the state fair after successes at Hendricks county. O H Mills and son earned four ribbons. A Jersey bull owned by R A Gill won the grand champion prize. Fred Breedlove showed Rhode Island Red poultry earning three ribbons. About twenty five youths plan Guernsey Cattle club formation.

Doctors Attend Parke Vermillion Medical Meeting

A Franklin Star reprint reports a widespread Thursday rumor that a plane over Franklin and the fair grounds had to land or crash. The craft seen south of Franklin was just a Plainfield aviator and a companion who landed in H. O. Canary field and relaxed at Greenlawn cemetery before returning to Plainfield. The Indianapolis plane scheduled for the fairgrounds did not arrive.

Mrs. Sarah Jane Cook Dies at 81 in Belleville Area
Mrs. Sarah Jane Cook, 81, widow of John M. Cook, died Wednesday from paralysis after about ten days illness. Funeral services from her home southeast of Belleville Friday, conducted by Mrs. Lydia Painter of Monrovia. She is survived by five children Preston Arthur James Nona Cook and Mrs. Arthur Field.
