Registration Day Guidelines For Indiana Voters
Indiana voters must register to participate in the November election. There are two registration days the first Saturday in September and the first Monday in October from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Registration can be in person by precinct boards, by mail with notarized or two-resident certifications, or by prefilled forms verified by a notary or two voters. Absent electors and those turning 21 by election day must register, with a 29 day cutoff before the election. Precinct boundaries are described for three precincts along the National Road and surrounding lines.

Plainfield Adopts Six Three Three Junior High Plan
Plainfield schools will reorganize under the Six Three Three plan forming a junior high system. Grades one through six stay at the grade building, grades seven through nine move to the old high school, and grades ten through twelve will use Central Academy now renamed senior high. The move aims at departmental teaching, supervised study, subject choice, vocational guidance, and grouping by developmental level, with open school dates set for Monday September 13 as repairs near completion.
