John Allen Miles 76, lifelong Hendricks County resident, died at his country home after a three week cancer illness. He served in the Civil War, led as Citizens State Bank president, and was active in church work. Funeral held at home with G A R honors. interment at Irons Cemetery. Survived by five children and two brothers.
