County to send quota to training camp at Camp Knox
The county quota for the Citizen's Military Training Camp at Camp Knox Kentucky from July 21 to August 20 will be proportional to county population. Indiana counties report growing applications to the Chamber of Commerce Indianapolis and to Fifth Corps Area Headquarters Ft Benjamin Harrison. The State Executive Committee notes camps will provide vacation value with military training run like the Plattsburg model. Men and boys will be grouped by ages.

Chester E Hadley son of Lincoln and Sarah Hadley was born March 18 1893 in Belleville Indiana. He married Mable O Neal in Danville in 1915 and had a daughter Maxine born that year. He joined Western Avenue Baptist Church earlier this year and died May 18 at age 28. Burial was at Springhill Cemetery.

Charges Brought by Son In Bridgeport
M C Locke of Bridgeport caused the arrest of his father Robert Locke a 52 year old storekeeper and Bernie Osborn a 40 year old of Bridgeport on charges of association Monday. The elder Locke was arrested at the Lorraine Hotel alleged to have been with a woman. All affidavits for the arrest were sworn by young Locke and James E Sanders. The Osborne woman was traced to Bridgeport and found in an Indianapolis taxi watching her house burn. She was arrested after the fire and returned to Indianapolis.
