A. Home Wedding at New Matonescork afternoon unites Miss Carrie Schenck and Edward G. Crowell in a ceremony performed by Bo Mitchell with about twenty five relatives and friends present. The couple plans a honeymoon trip to Boston and Hyannis Massachusetts after dinner, following a reception with guests from New York and local acquaintances.
Mr William Titus and Mrs Moses Kinsey of Newark make a brief halt to Plainfield. Mr and Mrs Nelson Runyon celebrate their twenty second wedding anniversary by visiting their son at Yale College. The Episcopal ceremony was led by Rev Asa R Hills. The bride was given away by her brother in law Mr Pease of San Francisco and J Keynpton Lesher of Buffalo performed the baton of page. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast followed and the couple left for Washington D C to spend their honeymoon. They will be at home No 4 Third place on Thursday November 5. Attending were H M Lewis president of the 538 White Dental Company and Herbert of Mackroas Abbey Ireland.
A Jersey Central coal train wrecked at Bound Brok last night when a broken axle caused a car to jump the track. Thirty cars followed into a wood pile, most shattered. Tracks blocked for several hours.
The Republican City Executive Committee met last night and set primary days for the Second, Third and Fourth Wards on Wednesday November 4 and the First Ward on Thursday November 5. Names of challengers to guard ballot boxes were proposed for each ward. City Court cases including Hoffman and Canfield were adjourned or dismissed due to nonappearance.
The Emerald Benevolent Societies of New Jersey held a two day convention in the city. A reception at Mary Hall welcomed delegates followed by a list of attendees and an appointed committee on resolutions with members from multiple branches including South Amboy Lambertville Florence and Burlington.
Reports say Joseph C. Randall secretary for Plainfield Lodge No. 305 vanished from 49 Liberty Street after over a week away. Inspectors found a shortage around $160 in Randall’s books, with his whereabouts and papers for his apprehension unknown.

The Dan l Boone company box receipts and properties were seized after the curtain rose at Music Hall to satisfy about $160 owed to the Music Hall Association. The claim was settled by paying $100 in cash. Constable Moffett carried out the levy.
