Mr Rupert C King of New Canaan sponsored Scotch foursomes that attracted a field of over one hundred contestants. E A Johnston of Baltimore and F B Yottle of Jefferson Highlands led the event with a score of eighty four, tied for second at eighty five.
The Scores section lists A. Stagg of Chicago University and J. E. Kellogg of Alpine tying for first at eighty five with a playoff win. Walter Camp and partner Mr. King scored ninety with nine strokes allowance, Camp Jr. and T N MccAboy posted ninety six with nine handicap. Numerous ties and a long field followed as other players and officials are named, with utility departments drawing visitors to Dairy Barn and Creamery exhibits.

In a close finish the mixed foursomes event produced a double tie for first and second as 38 pairs competed for prizes from Tin Whistles sponsors Messrs IT. L. Redfield T. S. Lippy and J. E. Pushee.
