End of an Historic Midwinter Golf Tourney Week
History of Southern golf features the third annual midwinter tournament ending as THE OUTLOOK goes to press. Semifinals in progress with W C Carnegie facing G W Keates and Allan Lard meeting C L Becker for the final rounds. Qualification saw Carnegie lead with 79, Becker 81, and a field packed with notable clubs and many ties across divisions.

Second division qualifiers included C H Rosenfeld and B Matthewson among many ties at 96. Three eight-player divisions proceed to match play Thursday morning amid delightful weather.

Moffat Wins Second Annual Advertising Golf Meet
W D Moffat of Hackensack New Jersey defeated K C Fownes of Pittsburg by one up to win the cham pionship in the second annual tournament of the American Golf Association of Advertising Interests. K P Nevin Jr. beat D Herbert Hostetter by three and two in consolation play. Trophies were awarded to division and consolation winners with a list of names and clubs for each division.
