Risley Wins Midwinter Tour Medal and Match
Maurice Risley of the Atlantic City Country Club captured the eighty-two card and the gold medal in the eleventh annual Midwinter tournament, defeating C L Becker of Woodland in the final after a tense turn with Risley securing the eleventh and Becker halving the eighteenth. Becker also reached the semi against Dutton while Slater and Hunter, Dutton, and Seggerman featured in the earlier rounds as contenders for the other prizes. Concluded on page two.
