Royal welcome for Ouimet International in golf world
National Open Champion Francis Ouimet arrived to a royal welcome unseen since Harry Vardon. He visits America’s St Andrews with Paul Tewksbury, plans to whack the ball and perhaps break course records, while Woodland Club funds cover his travel under the Ouimet fund. The plan follows USGA rules to avoid amateur status criticism.
