A city tired soul, Patrick, and Grannie drift toward Ireland for a faery visit. They find wonder on Ben Mor with wee people, faery bells, and glow worms, but the modern life’s grind returns as the dream ends with a dawn wind and a vow to seek imagination again.
A triple tie kept four-ball and match play events unsettled as six up led by Walter G. Clark and R. C. Shannon II with partners Abbe Cheatham Truesdell Hudson. Other top pairs included Becker Hunter and White Rumsey 5 up, Dutton Harmon 4 up, Towle Pottle 2 up, and several 1 up or 7 down scores at the Parker Whittemore club event.
A postponed kickers handicap at The Silver Foils tourney will be played today. Contributors include Mrs. F. G. P. Barnes, Miss Edith Barnett, Mrs. L. E. Beall, Mrs. E. R. Behrend, and many others with trophies on display at The Carolina. A bogey handicap is scheduled for Tuesday.
