Tin Whistle Novelty Leads Tin Whistles Tie For Second

In a twelve hole medal play event with six handicap on each nine the Tin Whistles tournament shows M Sedgwick with a 43 net leading by a single stroke. A four way tie for third includes Baldwin Brown Hunter Crocker while Phil lips and Stall share second place at 44 each.

Walter J Travis paired with E A Johnston against Henry C Fownes and George Crocker on a difficult course. His 69 score appeared superb, nearly matching the course record of 68 set by Alexander Ross.

Langmuir Wins Weekly Handicap Trap Title

John B. Langmuir of Niagara Falls led the fourth round of the weekly hundred target trap handicap, scoring eighty five with a thirty five handicap. G. J. Adams of Islip was second at eighty three with thirty five. F. R. Derby of Bennettsville had seventy four with a fifteen allowance. E. W. Evans of Bennettsville and G. W. Elkins Jr. of Philadelphia ranked among others, Kilkins withdrew early.

Firet of Rifle Tournaments Opens Feb 25 to Mar 15

The first open handicap rifle shooting tournament at the target butts runs from February 25 to March 15 inclusive. Caps will be offered for the best net scores by both men and women.
