Three Ball Golf Title Claimed By L D Pierce At Tin Whistles
The Tin Whistles annual three ball at Number One course saw 57 entrants with Lou Hamilton posting low gross 78 while T H Hogsett led the 27 qualifiers with 70 net. In match play, J R Bowker surged in nine contests as Pierce edged Ormsbee and Milliken by slim margins, with Pierce later prevailing 48 points to win.
