Dr H E Russell prominent Easley physician died suddenly Thursday afternoon while on a professional call. He was about 48, native to Easley, practiced 18 years, and served as local surgeon for the Southern railway. Survived by wife Sallie Lou Starke and three children Essie Julia Starke and Earle Jr, his mother, sister, and an uncle. Funeral held Friday at 6 with Rev J P Davis officiating.
