Dining Out Club helps seniors dine out at discount this fall
The Dining Out Club run by Clearfield County Centers for Active Living partners with local restaurants to offer discounts to residents age 50 and older. Fall sessions run Sept 27 in Clearfield and Oct 4 in Kylertown through Nov 14 with weekly couponed meals at participating eateries. Coupon booklets are free and available at the two centers during weekday hours.

First woman leads Army drill sergeants at Fort Jackson

Snyder Run bridge reopens along SR 3014 Five Points Road
The Snyder Run Bridge in Burnside Township on state Route 3014 reopened to traffic around 10 a.m. today after a deck and beam replacement by PennDOT crews from Clearfield County Maintenance. Detour lifted. approaches will be paved over the next three weeks. Drivers urged to slow for uneven pavement and wear seat belts. more on PennDOT’s site.
