Curwensville Borough Planning Commission approved advance of a nearly 25 million renovation project for Curwensville Area schools. Glendale School Board voted 6-0 to authorize business manager Jeff Westover to seek a line of credit from Northwest Savings Bank not to exceed 4 million dollars. The district aims to operate pending state budget approval. Also refinancing a bond through Dinsmore & Shohl could save about 80 thousand dollars, with total savings near 600 thousand to date. The board authorized purchasing 35 choir robes from Regency Cap and Gown Co for 2,247 dollars plus shipping.
