Mohawk Bank Robbery In Mohawk Arrests In Indianapolis
Three youths aged 18 to 19 robbed the Mohawk State Bank and escaped with about 1000 dollars. Homer Casey Jack Walsh and John Vinson were captured in Indianapolis within hours with nearly 500 dollars recovered. They pleaded guilty in Greenfield Circuit Court and received ten to twenty five year sentences.

Falls Park draws huge crowds for swimming week
Enormous crowds visited Falls Park last Sunday and continued daily through the week. Pool receipts totaled 160 dollars on Sunday, with 78, 80, and 130 dollars on subsequent days. An estimated 1500 to 2000 people attended Sunday, car parking was at capacity, and over 300 swam at times. Visitors came from Indianapolis and many nearby towns, with park police managing jams and drive blockages. Pendleton’s pool is touted as central Indiana’s most popular.

Rustic Inn Opens On Huntsville Road At Falls Park
The Rustic Inn refreshment stand on the K. M. Hallowell ground east of Falls Park opens Sunday. S. L. Speck and Eugene Boston own it with Mr. Boston in charge. It will serve refreshments and soft drinks in the afternoons and evenings. They plan further improvements and hope to offer chicken dinners later to be a first class eating stand.
