Work advances rapidly on the Brown Street road from the township line to C. C. Williams corner of Huntsville road. The road is being built of concrete. A fight at its inception aimed to enter Pendleton, but the Commissioners and Advisory Board limited it to three miles. The unfinished stretch provides little benefit to Pendleton.

Tourist Camp Registers Many Visitors at Falls Park
The Falls Park tourist camp reports numerous visitors this season with a register listing guests from diverse locations. Notable entries include E S Goss W Somerville Mass Elmer Ward and family Jackson Mich and several others travelling from Indianapolis Franklin and Cincinnati among dates in late April May and June. Mystery Over Mr. Adkins Vanishing After Milking

Death of Wilson Gause Retired Farmer Near Frankton
Wilson Gause 65 a retired farmer died Wednesday night at his daughter’s home near Frankton. He leaves a widow one daughter and a sister in Iowa. He was a first cousin of I G Davis of Pendleton. Funeral services will be at Huntsville Church at 2 30 Saturday and burial in Huntsville cemetery.
