Shideler Dies at St Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis
George A. H. Shideler, superintendent of the Indiana Reformatory, died at St Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis after acute illness. He had been en route from Pendleton to Jeffersonville, leaves a widow and two sons, and was a noted figure in Indiana’s penal and corrective system.

Miss Nelle Vene, chairman of the Harding Memorial Fund, Pendleton and Fall Creek Township, says solicitation will be limited to churches, lodges and clubs. Contributions may be paid at the Pendleton Trust Co. or Pendleton Banking Co. It is hoped the community will participate in honoring the great man.
