Officials report over 600 new cholera cases in the last 24 hours as death rates exceed 60 percent. Authorities abandon plans to convert schools into hospitals and Premier Stolypin intensifies the anti cholera crusade amid worsening conditions. Many die in the streets noted in the report from Repl. 22.
J P Cotton of Canton located 160 acres of unimproved land 14 miles from Hood River Oregon. Despite premium orchard interest, the tract valued at about $50 per acre had been thought deeded. Cotton filed on the land Saturday and plans to build a house and structures at once.
On Sept 22 Bellingham reporters note Kanes City capitalists bought 120 million feet of timber from EB N Saling of Michigan to supply a large mill on the South Bellingham waterfront. The price paid was 250000. Timber lies on the hills of Taike Samilah.
The state board of equalization notes no residents in Douglas Perry Olainogan Skamania or Wohkkinkum counties own cars while Asatin and Bronton counties boast one each and Catlam Nas has four.

He attributed the halt to darkness, though the machine held enough fuel for longer.
Ben McMullin a Stevenson Washington bartender was arrested in Umatilla by Deputy Sheriff Tillson on orders from the sheriff's office. He faces charges of robbing a Stevens man of $200. Information that Monuhin was headed this way came via The Dallas dispatch. Deputy at Umatilla nabbed him there.
