Two hundred Cree Indians are quarantined three miles from Havre Montana to halt the smallpox spread. Eighteen cases confirmed at the camp with more developing. Cree were driven over the line by Canadian authorities and Major Monteath of Backfoot reservation redirected them away from that area.
