Indians Take Two In Weekend Baseball Series
The Pendleton Indians defeated Everett twice, 14 to 2 on Saturday and 2 to 1 on Sunday, in a pair of well pitched, error-influenced games. Umpire C A Maskroy called tight at times but overall the action pleased the crowd as Pendleton clinched the set with a ninth inning wild throw opening the winning run. The box scores note Pendleton the stronger team with strong pitching and timely defensive plays.
