Irrigation Map Details Little Walla Walla Delta Waterways
County surveyor J W Kimbrell has prepared a map of the Litthh Walla Walla Irrigation district showing water courses and land under water. He will add the Tumalum course and its branches, aiding district lawyers in the injunction suit with Hudson Bay Company. The map covers about 2000 acres and will locate springs and feeders in a second survey. Ghosts at Fraser staged by Alberta Gallatin in Pendleton
The Fraser presented Ibsens Ghosts last Saturday with five characters, including an artist. The production kept the full drama through three acts, delivering the plot’s tension, moral questions, and stark social critique with restraint and vitality. The audience cheered the climactic revelation of a fallen man, while harpies in society sniped at a woman who strays from propriety. It was a rare, vivid transfer of the play’s themes to the stage and one of the hits of the night.
