New barns planned for Oregon state fair grounds
W F Matlock says plans for new cattle sheep and horse barns will be built at the Oregon state fair grounds this summer at a total cost near 20000 dollars. Horse barns priced at 1259 each cattle 2150 each and sheep 1975 each. Convicts are at work tearing down old structures and fourteen men are employed. Construction should start soon and Oregon aims for a premier state fair next fall.
