Federated Women Entertain At Foreign Tasting Tea
The Women's Federated Club hosted teachers and guests at a foreign tasting tea in the Legion Building. Members displayed eight country themes with foods and costumes from their regions. Central College students Doris Cauker Maria Chan and Bernard Mutunga showcased folk performances. Local chairmen organized food and decorations. An Eldora grower displayed a 2.75 pound potato and a 28 inch banana squash weighing 24 pounds.
