Tony Willem sen and family from Reasner called on aunt Anna Vande Voort to bring Holland greetings. Ernest Olson and his wife visit with sisters Mars S Van Hemert and J C De Bruin, joining George Else and son John at Oskaloosa. Pearl Savery of Denison Iowa and Harry Butler Jr with children Jim John and Jane visited Richard Savery’s home to see the new grandson and nephew. George Veltema and family from Jamestown Michigan spent several days with daughter Melo dee Stursma.

The Home News reports visits among local residents. Marie Kommer entered the Home of the Aged last Saturday. She was married to a man named Bye Rees on April 20, and they lived in Des Moines area before moving. Surviving are her husband and two sons, Max M. and Robert D., both of Des Moines, along with sisters and brothers in Iowa and Minnesota. Funeral services were held Oct. 12 at Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.
