Miss Phyllis Jean Vaughn daughter of Mr and Mrs Philip Vaughn of Leighton wed Silvan Jay Van Wyk son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Van Wyk of Gilman Iowa on October 21 at the First Methodist Church in Gilman In attendance were 125 guests The ceremony featured aqua yellow decor with bells and streamers The bride wore a nylon over taffeta gown with iridescent sequins and lace accents A reception followed in the church basement with aqua and yellow decorations The couple will reside in Sioux Falls South Dakota The bride and groom plan the Ozark wedding trip and return to 201 N Cliff Ave Sioux Falls After graduation the bride attended Oskaloosa and Prairie City High Schools The groom works for John Morrell Co in Sioux Falls Out of town guests came from Pella Leighton Otley Prairie City Lynnville and Sioux Falls.
