Sully Couple Sees Fortieth Wedding Anniversary in California
Mr and Mrs Harry De Jong celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary on September 24 in Sacramento at the home of their daughter and son in law Ward Versteegh. The couple married September 24 1921 in Newton Iowa and spent most of their married life in Sully before retirement in 1958 after serving as postmaster and assistant. They have two daughters Almetta Versteegh and Betty Van Der Kamp both of Sacramento and five grandchildren.

Christian High Band Debuts in Reconditioned Uniforms
The Christian High School band will debut 75 maroon and white reconditioned uniforms purchased from Alcoa Tennessee, saving about 5000 dollars. The concert on Friday November 3 at 7 45 pm in the school auditorium features the A Cappella Choir and a new Alma Mater piece by director Paul Achterhof.

Belated 25th Anniversary Celebrated by Pitch Club
