Christmas Party at Sadler Home Delights Neighborhood Friends

Death of Andrew Bootsma at State Hospital Mt. Pleasant

Andrew Bootsma died of pneumonia at the State Hospital in Mt. Pleasant on Friday December 21, 1923, at age 45 after about four months as a patient. His body was moved to Pella for burial with funeral services at his sister Mrs H J Boland home conducted by Rev H M Bruins, burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Vander Linden Die at Des Moines At 3 A M

Elizabeth Vander Linden died in Des Moines at 3:00 a m Tuesday December 25 1923 aged 66 years 9 months and 10 days She is survived by her mother Mrs Wm Vander Linden of Pella three brothers John H Des Moines Marinus of Pella Herman Leighton and two sisters Mrs H J Schalekamp Sioux Center and Mrs N Aalfs Sioux City Funeral services are set for Thursday at the home of her brother M Vander Linden 213 Franklin Street at 1 30 p m and at the Second Reformed church at two o'clock Interment at the First Reformed Cemetery.
