Easy to Drown New Xmas Plant
Iowa State College extension horticulturist Larry Grove warns Christmas plants drown with a cupful of water. Over-watering is a common fault when excess water cannot drain from the container. Gift wrappings like oilcloth or foil trap water. cut bottom holes to drain. Raise pots slightly off saucers to prevent water retention.
