Weekly Poortinga family visit on Otley farm ends with ice tale
Seib Poortinga recalls crossing a frozen lake near Otley with his brother 40 years ago in a log cabin era farmstead. The feature covers farm life near Prairie City, Henry Septer relations, a large Poortinga clan, a new road project, and the Chronicle visit notes with photos of the house and family.
