Mrs A B Goemat visited with her daughter in Pella from Sunday until Tuesday of last week. Jake Goemaat was injured Friday when a cow fell on him causing severe pain. Shoppers and relatives gathered at various homes last weekend and Sunday, while several ill with mumps and other visits were noted among neighbors.

There are four new scholars at Fifield school Margaret Meindersma Frank Wilbur and Yella Westra enrolled now 25 students. Mrs John Van Waardhuizen visits with daughter Rean Van Engelhoven. Sturwalt hosted a wear over aluminum demonstration at Wm Zegers home with six guests. Delmon Van Zante from Sully visited Gerrit Vande Kieft's home. Veda Zegers visited with the Zegers family and John Van den Berg's son Kenneth, sick with pneumonia, is improving. Gerrit Vande Kieft and family visited J Bloodsworth home. Rean Van Engelhoven bought a Farmall tractor from Vogelaars. Mrs William Zegers received word Netherlands father very ill.

Killduff Miss Charlotte Gravatt led an all day lesson study on making homemade rugs at Richland Grange Hall on Friday March 27. Attendees included Mrs. Jetson Adams and many local residents. A next meeting is planned April 9 at Mrs. Carl Hasselbrink’s home focusing on Italian hem stitching and window drapery materials.
