The Business and Professional Women's Club opened its year with strong support for civic projects led by Mrs. George Nagel. Pecos Chapter Set to Host O E S Meeting Anniversary Night
Pecos Chapter No. 81 O E S will hold its first October meeting Monday October 9 with Mrs Allie Rhea Beck presiding and Hollis Smith assisting. The gathering marks 38 years since the chapter was organized on October 10 1902 by Mrs Agnes V Young Big Spring past grand matron. Two charter members remain active Vida Pruett Hedgpeth and Mayme Pruett Taggart. Members from Kilgore Pine Weatherford Alpine Monahans and Weatherford chapters will attend as the chapter works to raise funds for an electric signet for ritual work and collect cans to be opened at the meeting.
