Commencement set for Pecos High School graduates
Commencement exercises for Pecos High School seniors will be Tuesday at Rotary Field starting at 8 p.m. The address will come from Dr. B H Amstead of the University of Texas at the Permian Basin. Amstead, Odessa resident and UT Austin alumnus, has held multiple honors and authored over 30 technical articles and two books.

A $31 750 grant from the Criminal Justice Council to the Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission in Midland Odessa funds a regional radio communication system.
