Sun Oil Co enlarges the Snyder plant five miles northwest of Snyder Texas in a 12 million dollar program. The project raises gas handling from 90 to 160 million cubic feet daily and adds a recovery process for ethane and heavier components. Liquid recovery at design inlet reaches about 43 900 barrels daily, with an expanded gathering system to reduce pressure drop.
