24 Silver Miners Dead in Idaho Shaft Fire

Steam Pipe Blast Kills Seven in Manhattan Office Building
A steam pipe exploded on the 36th floor of 80 Pine Street in Manhattan injuring and killing at least seven people. Fire officials said four women and three men died when the wall blew out in a corner room of the 38 story building.
