Escaped Kentucky convict arrested near Pecos for hitchhiking

Robert Lee Webb, 41, an escapee from Kentucky State Prison, was arrested two miles west of Pecos for hitchhiking. He faces federal and state kidnapping charges plus multiple counts including grand theft auto and breaking and entering. Webb is held in Reeves County Jail on 100000 bond awaiting transfer to Cincinnati. Patrolman Henry Morris made the arrest after discovering Webb was wanted and seized a loaded pistol Webb carried.
