Delaware Basin Oil Roundup Wildcat No. 1 Thigpin plugged and abandoned
The Delawar e Basin report notes the Thigpin No. 1 wildcat in Pecos County was plugged and abandoned at a total depth of 9 490 feet seven miles northwest of Sheffield. It posted 2 003 6 feet from south and 1 959 8 feet from east lines of section 4 block 178 TCRR survey. The discovery Lare Oil & Gas Co Midland No. 1 Shearer finaled Sept 24 1970 with an apparent open flow of 9 5 million cubic feet per day through perforations 4 963 4 990 feet.
