Remodeling a 200 year old house by Father Newton
Virginia born Episcopal priest Father Willoughby Newton, headmaster of Wykeham Rise in Washington Connecticut, remodels Sabbath House, a 200 year old residence near his school. He gutts walls, installs insulation, learns to cut sheet rock, and adds 12 feet to create a larger kitchen. The project becomes therapeutic, blending heirlooms, contemporary pieces, and a goal of eventually renting to fund further improvements.
