Movement Restrictions On Swine Extended In Texas

The Texas Animal Health Commission extends a swine movement quarantine from March 29 to May 28 with a 30 day on premises hold for pur chased swine and limited movement for slaughter or shows. Bailey notes 22 hog cholera cases since March 29, five counties released from federal quarantine, Potter County under federal quarantine, and warns violators face fines.
