Country Folk Have Deep Gift Source
Minnie May Grubbs, district agent for the Texas A and M College extension service, says farm folk have a rich source for Christmas gifts. A quart of pickled peaches a jar of strawberry preserves or similar delicasies from the pantry make nice presents. Small fruit cakes wrapped with the recipe, home prepared honey jelly shelled pecans or persimmons offer inexpensive gift options for farm housewives.
