The Texas and Pacific Railway celebrates eighteen years of passenger service with the Sunshine Special. ceremonies led by Fort Worth and Dallas Chambers of Commerce honor the line’s famed train. Since its maiden trip on December 5, 1915 the run to northern and eastern points cut more than six hours from the previous Dallas Fort Worth to St Louis and Memphis times.

Publication citation in Reeves County Texas requires defendants New Century Manufacturing Gibson Well Oklahoma Paper Co and many heirs to appear at Pecos Court on first Monday in January 1954 to answer a trespass to title suit over Lots 8 and 9 in Block 13 Pecos City filed November 27 1953 by Pecos Mercantile Co. The notice lists numerous heirs and defendants and directs compliance before the term begins.
