Brownlee Hardware’s Service Tradition Since 1939
Brownlee Hardware, rooted in the Pecos Mercantile legacy, has long focused on community service. Fred Brownlee Sr. acquired the hardware department in 1939, expanding and modernizing the business. Fred Brownlee Jr. joined after World War II and now co‑owns, noting daily variety in the hardware trade. The store offers DIY kits, Jones Blair and Martin Senour paints, a garden center, GE appliances, RCA televisions, assorted kitchenware, cutlery, gift items, and standard hardware essentials for plumbing and home repairs.
