Fire sweeps Pecos feedlot and grass blaze reported
Reeves County Feeders on Highway Ly saw a large feedlot fire Wednesday as volunteer firefighter used about 15000 gallons to control heavy winds and three cottonseed hull lots burned. Fire chief J T Prewit said three units fought the blaze from 5 36 p m to 9 34 p m. A smaller grass fire was also battled on the Cayanosa Highway at 12 29 p m.
