Bill West of Payson was shot in the stomach and wrist by Charles Bott in Pine Top on November 6. West was treated in Show Low and transferred to St Joseph's in Phoenix in satisfactory condition. Bott was in custody in Missouri and faces charges including assault with a deadly weapon and auto theft.
