Permits valid for specified areas and species. first come, first served. limit one tree per family. Trees may be cut November 19 through December 24.

ADOT to open Highway 87 bids this fall
ADOT will open bids November 10 for a four mile four lane divided highway on Highway 87 from Oxbow hill to the south edge of Payson. Solomon Cleared of Charge Over Medical Practice License
Dr. James Solomon of Payson and Mesa was found not proven to have practiced medicine without a license. Four patients’ testimony failed to show he misled patients about cancer diagnoses and cures. Solomon, who runs Naprapath treatments for about 1000 people, had clinics closed by a temporary restraining order but plans to reopen Payson clinic on November 16.

John Hall 26 of Phoenix was found alive in rugged Hell's Gate area east of Payson after disappearing Wednesday afternoon. He was hungry but in good health, disoriented among box canyons and sheer escarpments. Gila County Sheriff's Posse, DPS helicopter, Junior Posse aided. Captain Ron McDaniel and Jim Wheeler located him Friday afternoon.
