Pine Water System Action Filed in Pine
The Pine Improvement Association has filed a lawsuit to acquire the Pine Water System from United Utilities. The action was accepted by the court and notices for the hearing in Tucson on April 8 were served to the defendants. The suit seeks information and clarifies E R Ralls Water Co stake in the system to protect United Utilities creditors. A second item notes a wedding at the local Baptist Church Elsa Ryberg and Ray Elliott Weiss wed with Forest Service staff present.

Sunday ceremony marks first shovel turning between Highway 260 and Granite Dells Road east of Bentley. The Rev. Carl Schneider led a dedication honoring deceased members.
