A fundraiser dance for Mary Blatchley drew many friends and neighbors to the store. Elk permits went to Gisela, Duke Hale, Jim Woods, Alma Anderson, and "'Shorty'' Sanders. A large clan gathering at the Richardson cabin and extensive family listings followed, with relatives visiting from Phoenix and Evanston and a Welcome aboard note for Joe and Phyllis Aguirre at Tonto Creek Shores.
