Rain Fails to Wash Away Weekend Winds and Family Gatherings
Aunt Dollie Hale recorded .81 inch of rain on Thursday and .5 inch on Friday as winds proved strong. The Peace family celebrated Thanksgiving with John Mullins flying in from Alaska, sharing meals at Swiss Village Inn and at various homes. Tom Connolly injured a finger, Nellie Gene improvised with a hair curler before a proper guard arrived. Several gatherings centered on Myrtle Flack and the Richardson clan at the ranch, with attendance from numerous relatives. The Arcana chicken inquiry prompted no sales, and plans for Christmas visits from New Mexico remain hopeful. Property owners form Tonto Creek Shores POA, appointing Joe Napolitano president and other officers. Joe Young returns from Phoenix for medical checks and holiday rest.
