Postmaster Urges Proper Addresses for Christmas Mail
Payson Postmaster Floyd Clauson urges residents to use correct mailing addresses to ensure quick delivery during the Christmas season. Home delivery and post office box users should follow specific address rules, including Star Route labeling, to avoid delays. With 1700 boxes and many readers, incorrect addressing could delay mail by days. Winter weather may impede access to mail boxes, and residents are asked to mail Christmas cards by December 15 and packages by December 5. Total package limits apply for first class and other post offices.
