Nine new teachers join Payson school starts roster
Ruth Ann Scott leads as elementary physical education teacher and junior high coach for girls volleyball basketball and track. Joan King brings special education expertise from New York to Payson Junior High. Don Nicholas heads the new vocational program offering welding metal work and auto shop. Pat Tatum returns to Payson teaching fifth grade after a year away. Howard Sullivan serves as high school counselor and IX Compliance Officer. Carl Waggoner leads junior high industrial arts World of Manufacturing and Power Experimenter. Lu Evans becomes Reading Specialist at Julia Randall Elementary. Chuck Harat returns to Payson High teaching science driver education and assists in basketball and track. Sharon McRae joins Julia Randall Elementary teaching home economics nutrition sewing and child care.
